The <a href=\"http:\/\/dylanchords.info\/25_infidels\/jokerman.htm\">single-guitar version on dylanchords<\/a>, however, never really did it for me: great song, great harmonies, but so thin when you&#8217;re alone with your guitar, without the exquisite drums&#8217;n&#8217;bass work by Sly and Robbie.<\/p>\n<p>Then, one day, on my way home from work, I was somehow humming <em>Jokerman<\/em> while thinking\u00a0<em>Moonlight<\/em> (this was back when <em>&#8220;Love and Theft&#8221; <\/em>was recent news), and something clicked.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve had it in the back of my head for some years now, so I figured it was time to record it.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oestrem.com\/thingstwice\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/jokeman3.mp3\">Jokerman meets Moonlight<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I suppose one could say that where Dylan&#8217;s Jokerman tends towards the enigmatic, mine is more of a joker.<\/p>\n<p>For those so inclined: here are the chords:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"tab\">Chords:\r\n\r\nBbo      x12020\r\nCo       x34242\r\nA\/c#     x42220  or x4222x with half-barre\r\nD\/a      x04232\r\nE+       022110\r\nA7\/g     34222x\r\nE7-9     076760\r\nBb       688700\r\nG#+      476500\r\n\r\n\r\n|: A .
