Dont forget Ecclesiastes (me oul' tribal bible). The whole poem is an ode to nothing new to be said (amongst other things.. I suppose) but ends up saying "ah I suppose i might just keep on keepin' on". Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 "And there is nothing new under the sun/ Is there anything of which it may be said "See: this is new"?/ It has already been in ancient times before us". Finishing of the book with 12:9-12: "And moreover, because the preacher was wise he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and set in order many proverbs...there is no end". So I found your source. Mwahahahahahaha! Nice article by the way. One more comment and then I promise I'm imposing a weekly ban on myself (unless thar be juicy comments!).
